Description

An illustration based on a Historical figure in a modern day situation, and here this is Sitting Bull protesting against the North Dakota Access Pipeline. Although we are at a time where the Native Americans are protecting their sacred land and territory from a militarized police force, and the American people are constantly fighting against our own government, and we are boycotting Wells Fargo like if it was our financial Traitor. We are still protecting Native Americans and protecting their water and their sacred land, which are the last few remaining, and our support for them is way crucial than ever before. And I am seeing that the protestors are withstanding every harsh act the police force is doing to them, like spraying tear gas and shooting rubber bullets at them, but they are still standing; and that's good. So I would likely be standing with Standing Rock. Because it seems that the Native Americans had lost many wars, they have suffered so much defeat and genocide throughout the American revolution, that it seems they are becoming more noticeable and desired than actual modern Americans today. So stand with Standing Rock and I hope you like my drawing! Enjoy!

Hello ArtRock

This may have been pointed out, but a better word than "so" used in the sign would be "then"

Most of the time it works like "IF ... (something happens) THEN ... (somethinge else happens because of the first thing)"

"So" also can be used to relate two ideas that are linked by what happens.

"It's gonna be hot today, so you'd better dress light."

or

Person A: "Everyone has a responsibility to take care of the planet, and do whatever small things we can do to help reduce waste."

Person B: "So if I want to help the planet, I should recycle, right?"

"So" also has uses outside of causation, like "that boba tea was SOOOOO good!"

But that's one you know.

English has a lot of funny words that mean similar things but can be used... so differently...

It takes some time to get the rythms right.

But the more you talk with English native speakers, the more you'll get the hang of it!
